Okay, so...

Now we're all back from Uni and we've been trying to work out best we can - circuit training currently being the work-out of choice, although the leisure centre is proving a tad unreliable!

So, anyway, I was thinking - what's everyone goal?  What do you want to achieve most?  Maybe if we set ourselves targets or goals we'll be able to help each other out more :)

My main goal is fitness and toning.  I really want to improve my upper body strength.  My main problem areas in terms of toning are my abs and my thighs (like, surprise, surprise?!).  If I could get my belly (relatively) flat and slim down my thighs considerably I'd be a much happier bunny.  I really want to improve my stamina and strength so that I can work on harder cardio work outs.

So yeah - circuit training is good enough but I really need something else because I'm so unbelieveably not disciplined enough to work out at home :(

it has been a while since i posted here but that has been because the news hasn't been great.

due to lack of time and energy from lethargy and essays i fell off the wagon pretty hard.

i did get down to 11 stone 8, 3 weeks ago, but i am back up to 11 stone 10.

back on the wagon now - been to yoga, feel achy and determined to look great this summer!

not to mention i spent over £140 on clothes on wednesday... i was running out :)

so yeah... trying to be good and more active once again.

I've been pretty good - I've only gone one day without doing my workout (but I wasn't entirely inactive) and I've been doing fairly well food-wise - I pigged out a bit over the weekend (curse you, cheese and carbs!) and I succumbed to chocolate today, but other than that, it's been going fairly well!

So, I've devised a daily workout for myself which I've stuck to so far...that's a whole THREE days, people :P  It consists of:

- Stretching
- 100 crunches (in sets of 20)
- 20 front kicks
- 20 roundhouse kicks
- 15 back kicks
- 50 jabs (in two stances)
- 50 crosses (in two stances)
- 50 uppercuts (in two stances)
- Stretching to cool down

So, 100 crunches, 55 kicks and 300 punches.  Should be good, right?  I'm already in sooo much pain, so I figure it works ;)

I also had a really good food day yesterday - I don't think I even had 2000 calories (not in a freakish calorie-counting way or anything) and everything I ate was healthy, or at least not crap.  I'm hoping I can stick to that.  NO chocolate, NO crisps and the like, unless it's sporadic.  I'm allowed the occaisional cake, lol.  And Diet Coke is allowed.  I have two nights out coming up and unless I get caught up in all the fun of it I'm going to try to lay off the drink a bit(that never works though :P).

Hope things are going well for everyone else!  Becky and Yvonne - we should totally all go to a class together or join the same gym or something over the summer :)

lost one pound in a week. i hope that the reason i haven't lost more is becuase i was on, and thus retaining water... i have been exercising loads and eating well! *big sigh*

been for a swim... i feel great other than the red eyes, clorine stink, aching muscles and the cut that stings a lot! :)

i will be fitter and healthier!
